Domestic CCTV systems

See how it works!

Domestic CCTV systems can provide an effective solution for Home security.
You have probably noticed the array of different systems on the market and choosing the right system can be a mind boggling! We have tried to simplify this by firstly explaining the different ways in which home CCTV systems can operate.

Home Network Internet  CCTV system:

This type of system uses your existing computer to monitor and record the camera images you could use wired or wireless cameras to achieve the same results.
Cameras can be desk or wall mounted and able to reproduce a fixed field of view or pan/tilt /zoom  around the room.

This type of setup enables you view the cameras over the Internet from work or when you are on holiday. This works by notifying you via a simple text/email message when an intruder has entered your property, you can then go
online and view your cameras live.

The text messaging/email facility can easily be turned off allowing you to view your cameras as and when you need to. For example; it is a great way to monitor the mischief your dog gets up to during the day or see the kids when they get home from school. The system has password only access preventing authorised viewing of cameras.

Wireless IP cameras provide a quick and simple method of installation all you need to do is connect the camera to the nearest power point.  Using the software provided you should then see the camera on your PC. You then need to set up your broadband router for port forwarding this will allow the cameras to be viewed over the Internet.
You ou can easily carry out the installation your self we can help you there also, by providing free advice by email!
